He is a person who graduated from at least one school that provides stage education and has worked as a professional theater actor, theater director and trainer for at least 4 years.

The General Artistic Director with the conditions stated above is appointed by the University Social Coordinator unit.

Mission:

Ozu Chamber Theater is responsible for organizing all social activities, artistic production and work, providing educational activities and art discipline, and educating its artists. If he deems it necessary, Ozu can select enough helpers from Oda members.

The General Artistic Director represents Özü Chamber Theater in artistic fields. In cases where the protocol requires, it may appoint members instead. With the approval of the Board of Directors and the decision of the social activities coordinator or the person appointed by the university, they can play in any place of Özyeğin University as they see fit. Ozu Chamber Theater may decide to participate in national and international art shows such as festivals, feasts, and organize tours. It recommends the project files of the games that are approved by the board of directors to be included in the annual game repertoire to the repertory board. If approved by the repertoire board, it leads to the determination of the rehearsal start dates of the proposed plays and the duration of the play. Confirms role assignments. Supervises the execution of the festival committee created.

Administrative Responsible

​

An Administrative Officer appointed for the administrative services of Özü Chamber Theater, Assistant Administrative Responsible as much as the administrative officer suggests. The cadres of these personnel are determined by the Board of the Ozü Chamber Theater every year.

The Administrative Officer must preferably be a student at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences or Faculty of Law and a member of the Özü Chamber Theater.

 

He is nominated by the board of directors and  Özyeğin University is appointed by the person he appoints. The term of office is 2 years.

 

Mission:

In addition to his administrative duties; It is also responsible for maintaining healthy relations between the Özü Chamber Theater and the social activities coordinator or the person assigned by the school.

With the approval of the board of directors, it is responsible for controlling the general budget distribution, ensuring that the dues are collected regularly and completely, either by himself or by the treasurer he will assign, and to keep the records of all members of the Administration.

Stage Director

It is elected by voting by the Board of Directors from among the candidates nominated by the Board of Directors.For the healthy progress of the Stage Directorate room's system , meeting the needs of the stage and other technical departments, taking the necessary measures to increase the efficiency in the production of actors and all other units; It is responsible to the Board of Directors for the collection of statistical information and the coordination of construction works.

 

Mission:
He is responsible for providing the connection between all sections of the Chamber and personally collecting the reports from the games that are being rehearsed or played with the Technical Committee, ensuring that the screenings take place on time and presenting the reports to the Board of Directors.

It is responsible for informing the necessary units of the university with the monthly reporting system of all activities.

Except for the members of the Özü Chamber, all students and university staff are obliged to report and present the activities they want to perform to the board of directors.

It also prepares the agenda of the Board of Directors and acts as its reporter. He can appoint as many assistants as needed.

Player Representative

He is the representative chosen from among the people who completed the workshop period as an intern at Özü Oda within the specified workshop continuity conditions, took part in the screening of the end-of-year play as an actor, and who were entitled to enter the acting pool with the decision of the board of directors after examining their disciplinary situation at the board meeting held at the end of the year.

 

All players who are found in the player pool and who have not received a disciplinary penalty approved by the board as a result of the disciplinary investigation can be a candidate for this task and vote for the candidate they support.

 

The candidate who receives the majority of the votes cast by the active members who come to the election place specified on the election day and time is elected as the player representative.

The term of office is 2 years.

It has the right to 1 vote in the agenda decisions to be taken by the Board of Directors.
 
Tasks:
Representing players by acting as a bridge between players in the player pool, game and workshop teams and the board;
To participate fully in the meetings of the board of directors;

Director's Representative

 

He is selected from among the members of Özü Oda, who have successfully completed the duties of assistant director once or assistant director twice, and whose project file he submitted later is accepted by the board of directors.

 

Tasks:

To represent the Özü Chamber directors on the board of directors, to follow the requests and complaints of the directors, the process of making plays and to represent them in the board of directors;

To carry out the works of the dramaturgy team together with the dramaturgy supervisor.

​

To participate fully in the meetings of the board of directors;

Fulfilling the additional duties given at the meeting of the board of directors within the specified time.

 

The term of office is 2 years.

It is elected by majority method with the votes of the members of the director pool in the Essence Chamber.

It has the right to 1 vote in the agenda decisions to be taken by the Board of Directors.

Disciplinary Board and its Members

 

Within the Ozu Room; Anyone who has completed 1 year, is officially named in the actor pool, director pool or any of the backstage teams, and has not gone through any disciplinary process in the room or throughout the school can be a candidate and vote in the election. The first 3 members with the most votes are elected to the disciplinary committee.

The term of office is 2 years.

 

Tasks:

Disciplinary Board, It is possible to live in the Essence Room(workshop period, rehearsal period, out-of-school activities with ÖzüOda, decoration process, etc.)It is an autonomous unit of 3 people that implements the necessary measures and/or the necessary disciplinary punishment in accordance with the statute, presents and reports to the board of directors in all kinds of problems. They appoint a disciplinary committee chairman by the election they make among themselves..

It is not obligatory for the members of the disciplinary committee to attend the meetings. The chairman of the board has the authority to represent the disciplinary board in the management. Attends board meetings. They can express their opinions and vote on the agenda decisions at the meetings of the board of directors, but they do not have the right to vote. It is treated as a recommendation. not required.
